Description

Acrolophus forbesi is a moth of the family Acrolophidae. It was described by Hasbrouck in 1964. It is found in North America, including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina and Texas. The wingspan is about 17 mm. Acrolophus is a genus of moths in the family Acrolophidae, with, typically, great individual variation within species in color pattern, making field identification of many individuals difficult or impossible. It was described by Felipe Poey in 1832.
