Description

The Texas Wasp Moth (Horama panthalon) is a moth of the subfamily Arctiinae. It is found in South America, Central America, Mexico, the Antilles and southern United States. The wingspan is 32–34 mm (1.3–1.3 in). Adults are on wing year round. They mimic a paper wasp (Polistes species).
