Description

Lophocampa ingens is a moth of the family Erebidae. It was described by Henry Edwards in 1881. It is found in the southern Rocky Mountains (Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah) and in Mexico. The moth flies in May and June. The larvae feed on ponderosa, lodgepole and piñon pines.
