Description

Bucculatrix separabilis is a moth in the family Bucculatricidae. It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from California. The wingspan is 8-8.2 mm. The forewings are white, marked with scattered black-tipped ocherous scales, and with groups of ocherous and black-tipped ocherous scales. The hindwings are pale yellowish grey. Adults have been recorded on wing from April to May. The larvae feed on Baccharis pilularis.
