Badister elegans

Description

Badister elegans is a species of ground beetle in the family Carabidae. It is found in North America. Badister is a genus of ground beetle in the family Carabidae native to North Africa, the Near East and the Palearctic, including Europe. In Ireland, Badister species are mostly confined to the south and west but no further north than midland counties, although the species number matches British and exceeds the Scandinavian totals.
