Description
Osmoderma is a group (genus) of beetles belonging to the group of golden basses (Cetoniinae) in the large group of scarabids (Scarabaeoidea).These bills have larvae in deadwood or humus inside hollow trees.In Norway,the very rare hermit ( Osmoderma eremita )occurs.
