Description

Coleophora uralensis is a moth of the family Coleophoridae. It is found in southern France, Spain, Hungary, Croatia, southern Russia, Afghanistan and Iran. Adults are on wing in late May and June. The larvae feed on Artemisia alba. They make a dark brown, laterally compressed composite leaf case of 7–8 mm. The mouth angle is about 30°. The case is composed of 10-15 v-shaped leaf fragments.
