Description

Metaphya elongata is a dragonfly species from the family of the dragonflies (Corduliidae),suborder true dragonflies (Anisoptera).The species is on the Red List of the IUCN as vulnerable,2007 assessment year,the population trend is decreasing according to the IUCN.The scientific name of the species was validly published in 1921 by Campion for the first time.
