Description

Agrotera amathealis is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Francis Walker in 1859. It is found in New Guinea and Australia, where it has been recorded Queensland, northern New South Wales and Western Australia. The wingspan is about 20 mm. The basal half of the forewings is golden and the marginal half grey. These two areas are divided by an orange submarginal band. The hindwings are grey with a gold inner margin. The larvae feed on Eucalyptus tereticornis.
