Description

Cosipara tricoloralis, the tricolored cosipara moth, is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Harrison Gray Dyar Jr. in 1904. It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from British Columbia, California, Colorado, Montana, Oregon and Washington. The length of the forewings is 10–11 mm. The ground colour of the forewings is white, covered by dark speckling and overlaid by dark grey, dull orangish and brownish-grey shading in the antemedial, postmedial and subterminal areas. Adults have been recorded on wing from May to September.
