Description

Diasemiodes janassialis is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Francis Walker in 1859. It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from Maryland to Florida and west to Texas. The wingspan is about 15 mm. The wings are black with white lines. There is a small white patch about halfway along the forewing near the inner margin. The hindwings have a white diagonal band projecting from the costa toward the middle of the outer margin. The median and basal bands are white.
