Description

Teldenia sparsata is a moth in the family Drepanidae. It was described by Wilkinson in 1967. It is found in New Guinea. The length of the forewings is 12–14 mm for males and about 13 mm for females. The forewings have the dark brown terminal fasciae reduced to a variable number of dots between the veins. There is a light brown broken subterminal fascia, two broken postmedial fasciae. The hindwings are similar.
