Description

Aristotelia achyrobathra is a moth of the family Gelechiidae. It was described by Meyrick in 1933. It is found in the Democratic Republic of Congo (Katanga). The wingspan is about 17 mm. The forewings are dark purplish-grey with a small basal patch of ochreous suffusion. The stigmata are cloudy, blackish, edged posteriorly with a few pale scales, the plical rather obliquely before the first discal. The hindwings are rather dark grey.
