Description

Chionodes perissosema is a moth in the Gelechiidae family. It is found in Argentina. The wingspan is about 15 mm. The forewings are grey sprinkled darker with a moderate white basal fascia, the edge convex and with spot of blackish irroration in the disc near beyond this. The stigmata form moderate spots of blackish irroration, the plical obliquely before the first discal, edged laterally by small white spots, the first discal followed by a small white spot, a white spot on the costa between the discal. There is a moderate subtriangular white spot on the tornus, and a rounded spot on the costa somewhat beyond it. The extreme tip of the wing is white. The hindwings are grey.
