Description

Chionodes whitmanella is a moth in the Gelechiidae family. It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from south-western Manitoba and eastern Washington to Colorado, Arizona and California. The wingspan is 11–13 mm. The forewings are light yellowish brown with two blackish-fuscous spots in the cell about the middle. A similar spot is found slightly before the basal third. The hindwings are pale fuscous white.
