Description

Gelechia stenacma is a moth of the family Gelechiidae. It is found in central India. The wingspan is about 10 mm. The forewings are fuscous, speckled with minute black transverse strigulae. There are small obscure black costal spots towards the base, at one-third, and three-fifths, and two representing the discal stigmata. The hindwings are thinly scaled pale prismatic bluish-grey, the margins suffused darker grey. The larvae feed on the leaves of Anogeissus latifolia.
