Lysipatha diaxantha

Description

Lysipatha diaxantha is a moth in the Gelechiidae family. It was described by Meyrick in 1932. It is found in Taiwan. The wingspan is about 25 mm. The forewings are dark purple-fuscous, on the basal third with a leaden-metallic gloss. There are three lines of ochreous-yellowish irroration in the disc from the base to one-third. There is an irregular angular oblique orange-yellow blotch in the disc at three-fifths. The hindwings are dark fuscous with a rather irregular orange-yellow postmedian fascia parallel to the termen, slightly interrupted on the submedian fold, and not quite reaching the costa.
