Description

Palumbina longipalpis is a moth of the family Gelechiidae. It was described by John David Bradley in 1961. It is found on Guadalcanal in the Solomon Islands. The wingspan is about 12 mm. The forewings are shaded with tilleul (pale yellowish green) buff, with vinaceous-buff, obscure markings. There are rather inwardly-oblique broad fasciae near the base, in the middle, and towards the apex. The apex is suffused with dark fuscous. The hindwings are whitish suffused with fuscous.
