Description

Thiotricha gemmulans is a moth of the family Gelechiidae. It was described by Meyrick in 1931. It is found in southern India. The wingspan is about 10 mm. The forewings are white with the costal edge black towards the base and a wedge-shaped dark grey mark along the lower half of the termen, above this two fine equal dark fuscous lines meeting at a point towards the apex, the lower from its anterior end, the upper from the costa, just beyond their apex. There is a dark fuscous transverse mark and a round black apical dot. The hindwings are whitish-grey.
