Description

Aphylla williamsoni, known generally as the "two-striped forceptail", is a species of clubtails in the family Gomphidae. It is found in North America. The IUCN conservation status of Aphylla williamsoni is "LC", least concern, with no immediate threat to the species' survival. The population is stable. Aphylla is a widespread Neotropical genus of dragonflies of the Gomphidae family. They are commonly known as the greater forceptails because of their forceps-like cerci.
