Austrogomphus bifurcatus, also known as Austrogomphus (Pleiogomphus) bifurcatus, is a species of dragonfly of the family Gomphidae, commonly known as the dark hunter. It inhabits streams and rivers in northern Queensland, Australia. Austrogomphus bifurcatus is a medium-sized, black and yellow dragonfly.
