Bibasis miracula

Description

Bibasis miracula is a butterfly of the familyHesperiidae. The scientific name of the species was first validly published in 1949 by Evans. This species is considered part of the Burara species group. Bibasis, the awlets, are a genus of skipper butterflies. The genus is confined to the Indomalayan realm. Vane-Wright and de Jong (2003) state that Bibasis contains just three diurnal species (B. aquilina, B. iluska, B. sena), the remainder having been removed to Burara.
