Description

Imma xanthomela is a moth of the Immidae family. It is found on Sulawesi. The wingspan is about 19 mm. The forewings are blackish, with the extreme costal edge yellow on the basal half and orange-yellow subcostal and submedian streaks from near the base to two-fifths, the lower rather broad. There is a large transverse orange-yellow blotch in the lower part of the disc beyond the middle, connected with the middle of the costa by a streak from the anterior angle. The hindwings are blackish, with an elongate orange-yellow spot in the disc, pointed anteriorly.
