Description

Crocanthes platycitra is a moth in the Lecithoceridae family. It was described by Meyrick in 1931. It is found in New Guinea. The wingspan is about 20 mm. The forewings are clear light yellow with a very small fuscous basal patch, the edge irregularly convex. There is a broad fuscous terminal fascia, occupying more than one-third of the wing, the edge nearly straight, slightly convex in the middle. The hindwings are grey-whitish.
