Description

Lecithocera loxophthalma is a moth in the Lecithoceridae family. It was described by Meyrick in 1934. It is found in Sudan. The wingspan is 12–14 mm. The forewings are light fuscous, suffusedly sprinkled dark fuscous and with the extreme costal edge whitish from the base to beyond the middle. The discal stigmata are blackish, the second forming the upper end of a short oblique cloudy dark fuscous mark. The hindwings are light grey.
