Description

Erythrodiplax acantha is a medium-sized species of dragonfly from the subfamily Sympetrinae.It occurs in the south of Brazil in the area around São Paulo.The name acantha - Greek άκανθα,ákantha "spine",English for spinous process - is derived from the structure of the penis of the species.So far,only a description of the male exists.
