Description

Libellula mariae is a dragonfly species from the family of the corn roots (Libellulidae),suborder of true dragonflies (Anisoptera).The species is on the IUCN Red List as sensitive,evaluation year 2007.The scientific name Libellula mariae has been validly published for the first time in 1992 by Garrison.
