Description

Acraea cepheus, the Cepheus acraea, is a butterfly of the family Nymphalidae. It is found in Africa, from Nigeria and Angola to Uganda, western Tanzania and Zambia. The habitat consists of forests. The larvae feed on Caloncoba welwitschii and Lindackeria dentata.
