Description

Acraea johnstoni, or Johnston's acraea, is a butterfly in the family Nymphalidae. It is found in southern Sudan, northern Uganda, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, western Mozambique and eastern Zimbabwe. The habitat consists of montane forests. Adults are on wing year round. The larvae feed on Pouzolzia parasitica, Urera trinervis, Laportea and Boehmeria species.
