Amathusia andamanensis

Description

Amathusia andamanensis, the Andaman palmking, is an endemic butterfly found in India that belongs to the Morphinae subfamily of the brush-footed butterflies family. The Andaman palmking was earlier considered as a subspecies of the palmking (Amathusia phidippus andamanica, Frühstorfer).
