Description

Agonopterix takamukui is a moth in the Depressariidae family. It was described by Matsumura in 1931. It is found in Japan (Kyushu) and the Russian Far East (Amur and Primorye regions). The wingspan is about 10 mm. The forewings are light fawn, lightly irrorated with dark brown and with a white-grey basal patch bounded on the outside by a vertical black line to the subcostal. There is a white spot surrounded by a black circle at two-thirds in the centre of the cell and there are two black spots at one-third in the basal angle of the cell. Between these two sets of cell markings is a black somewhat triangular blotch.
