Description

Agriophara salinaria is a moth in the Depressariidae family. It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1931. It is found on the Solomon Islands. The wingspan is about 20 mm. The forewings are white with a grey dot on the base of the costa. There are oblique grey marks from the costa at one-fourth and the middle, a grey dot obliquely beyond the apex of the first. The stigmata are faint and grey, the plical obliquely beyond the first discal. There is a grey dot on the costa at two-thirds, and another close beneath it. There is an excurved series of cloudy grey dots from four-fifths of the costa to the tornus, slightly sinuate towards the costa, interrupted above and below two median dots. The hindwings are white.
