Description

Antaeotricha amphizyga is a moth in the family Depressariidae. It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1930. It is found in Brazil (Para). The wingspan is about 16 mm. The forewings are dull white with markings of dark fuscous mottling suffused grey and with a dot on the base of the costa and a broad irregular oblique almost basal fascia continued on the dorsal two-fifths of the wing to unite with a broad slightly sinuate fascia from two-thirds of the costa to the dorsum before the tornus, the second fascia mixed white internally on the upper half and carrying a black discal dot surrounded by white on the anterior edge. There is a suffused spot from the costa before the upper part of the termen, the posterior edge waved and leaving the termen white. The hindwings are grey.
