Athrinacia psephophragma

Description

Athrinacia psephophragma is a moth in the family Depressariidae. It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1929. It is found in Brazil. The wingspan is 8–9 mm. The forewings are dark purplish bronze with four narrow irregular ochreous-orange transverse fasciae, each containing two or three small variable dark fuscous spots, the first three at one-fourth, the middle, and three-fourths, the first sometimes not reaching the costa, the second with the dorsal half blackish except the margins, there is sometimes an orange-ringed dark fuscous discal dot between the second and third, the fourth marginal is found around the apex and termen, containing three small dark fuscous spots on the termen. The hindwings are grey.
