(Delias nais)
Delias nais is a butterfly in the family Pieridae. It was described by Karl Jordan in 1912. It is endemic to New Guinea. The wingspan is about 65 mm. The forewings of the males have a white area reaching at least the lower angle of the cell and sometimes extended to beyond the end of the cell, it also extends to near the tornus. The hindwings have a narrow black marginal border. The black distal area on the forewings of the females is more extended black, and the border of the hindwings is wider. The white areas are slightly yellow-tinged.
