Description

Nephele leighi is a moth of the family Sphingidae. It is known from the Seychelles. The length of the forewings is about 41 mm. The upperside ground colour of the body and wings is ochre-brown. The forewing upperside is basally greenish-ochre posteriorly. The transverse bands are conspicuous and the submarginal area is blackish-brown. The submarginal line is very irregular and the marginal area is ochre-brown. The hindwing upperside is dark greenish-ochre. The marginal band is dark brown, narrowing posteriorly.
