Description

Rhagastis trilineata is a moth of the family Sphingidae. It is known from Japan. It is similar to Rhagastis mongoliana but distinguishable by the almost uniform (not distinctly chequered) forewing fringes and the small black discal spot on the hindwing underside. The hindwing underside has a small black discal spot. Larvae have been recorded feeding on Hydrangea macrophylla.
