Homona bakeri

Description

Homona bakeri is a species of moth of the family Tortricidae. It is found in the Philippines on the island of Luzon. The wingspan is 18.5–22 mm for males and 24–30 mm for females. The forewings of the males are pale ochreous, sparsely strewn with grey-purple scales and with light tawny markings mixed with purplish brown. The hindwings are yellowish ochreous, sometimes suffused on the dorsal half with brownish. The female forewings are pale ochreous with a lilac gloss, with numerous fine transverse ferruginous strigulae (fine streaks). The hindwings are ochreous yellowish and the extreme apex is purplish. The larvae feed on Annona muricata.
