Acipenser dabryanus is a ray-finned fish species from the family of sturgeons (Acipenseridae).The scientific name of the species is validly published for the first time in 1869 by Auguste Duméril.The name refers to the then French consul in China,Captain Dabry.The species is on the Red List of the IUCN as Critical,assessment year 2009.The size of the population is decreasing according to the IUCN.
