Sail-fin lizard

Description

Hydrosaurus pustulatus is a species of lizard of the family of Agamidae This oviparous lizard which can reach a meter long is,thanks to his flattened fingers,a good swimmer.It is omnivorous,feeding on fruits,leaves,flowers,insects and other small animals.He lives near rivers in the tropical forests of the Philippines.Males have a large ridge on the back,which is less developed in females.
