(Mirafra cheniana)
The Mirafra cheniana is in the order of the sparrows (Passeriformes),including the Alaudidae family and the 12 centimeter long bird of the Mirafra genus.Botswana,South Africa and Zimbabwe live in subtropical and tropical,low-lying,dry grassland areas.It mostly feed on grass seed,but it consumes insects.Monogam runs from September to March.Sow 2-4 eggs.It was moderately threatened due to the decline in its size.
