Description

The ' Iberian halite ( Alytes cisternasii Boscá,1879 ) is an amphibious anuran belonging to the family of Alitidi Iberian alite looks like a toad,but with often reddish warts and small parotoid glands.The pupils are vertical and the upper eyelid is also characterized by reddish warts.The upper parts range from brown to gray,often with irregular dark spots,while the belly has a light gray and whitish spots.The Iberian winged paws are not provided with spades or interdigital membranes,but on the front legs there are 2 metacarpal tubercles,of different sizes,and the 4th finger (the most external) is short and stocky.It has a total length of 3-4 cm
