Description

The masked artamo (Artamus personatus) is a species of bird in the family Artamidae.It is a highly nomadic species.Its plumage is gray with its black or dark face.The male has black face and lower parts of a light gray.The female has a gray face and lower parts of a light grayish-brown color.The immature specimens have speckled wing feathers and a white border.The juveniles have the head and body with dark gray and light gray stripes,the wing feathers with spots and white border.His call is a nasal 'Chirp' or 'Check'.Build your nest with grasses which you place in the hollow of a tree or in the upper part of a broken branch.Its laying consists of 2 to 3 eggs with grayish or green-gray spots.It can be seen in large flocks.
