Vandijkophrynus amatolicus is a species of anuran amphibian in the Bufonidae family of toads.It is endemic to the Eastern Cape Province ( South Africa ).Its natural habitat is tropical or subtropical areas of high altitude,grasslands and marshes intermittent freshwater.It is threatened by loss of habitat.
