Description

Carcharhinus albimarginatus is a great species of shark from the family Carcharhinidae.It occurs in the tropical waters of the Indian Ocean and the Pacific Ocean,often occurring around islands and coral reefs.It can sink to a depth of at least 800 meters.It is similar to the species Carcharhinus amblyrhynchos,but it is larger and more bulky and can be distinguished according to the white fins on the fins.It has a maximum length of 3 meters.Carcharhinus albimarginatus is an aggressive and powerful shark species that feeds on a wide range of bark beetles,smaller shark species and cephalopods.In the fight for food with other species of sharks from the family Carcharhinidae,often even larger individuals.Just like other sharks from this family,it is greedy,females are born in the summer of 1 to 11 young.This slowly growing species of shark is hunted for its meat,fins,skin,cartilage,jaws and teeth.The decline in its population has led to the International Union for the Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN) as a nearly threatened species.Carcharhinus albimarginatus is considered a potentially dangerous species for humans.Carcharhinus albimarginatus is easily recognizable by the white-colored fins of the fins.He has a robust,medium-stretched body,wide stick,big eyes,and five gill grooves.He has two rows in his jaw after 12 to 14 teeth.The upper teeth are triangular,broad with a rough teeth.Lower teeth have fine teeth.The first spine is large,triangular.Breasts are much longer than other species in this family and have a pointed end.The dyeing is blue-gray,top with bronze and bottom with white gloss.On the abdomen,Carcharhinus albimarginatus has on its sides two fine white strips and a distinct white coloring of the edges of all the floats.It can reach up to 3 meters in length but its typical size is between 2.0 and 2.5 meters.The maximum reported weight is 162.2 kg.Females are larger than males.
