Description

The mangabey from the mantle ( Lophocebus albigena ) is a primate of the family of the Cercopithecidae.The length of the body is between 40 and 72 cm,that of the tail between 55 and 100 cm and the weight can vary between 4 and 11 kg.The males are larger than the females.The color of the body is between dark brown and black,except the hair on the sides of the snout,which is light gray and gives its name to the species,and the long mane on the shoulders,whose color,gray,brown or black,depends on the subspecies.
