Bare-throated bellbird

Description

It has gray legs with yellow templates,side eyes with an almost black iris.There is a marked morphological difference between male and female,differing greatly in size and color.This divergence occurs after one year of life and reach sexual maturity. The male measures 28 cm and weighs 200 g,is whitish with areas without feathers on the face and throat,the skin is greenish-blue.The female measures 26 cm and weighs 150 g,has the ashen head,the back olive green and yellowish belly.At three years of age,he has adult plumage.It reproduces in spring and summer. The name comes from its song,similar to the echo of a metallic blow.
