Description

The piquirrosado diamond or red- billed parrot finch ( Erythrura kleinschmidti ) is a species of bird of the genus Erythrura that lives in Viti Levu,Fiji.It is common to find it in quiet mature forests in the center and east of Viti Levu.Usually live on the trunks and branches of trees,feeding on insects and fruits.The Kleinschmidt diamond,also known as becchenous diamond or woodpecker ( Erythrura kleinschmidti Finsch,1878 ) is a passerine bird of the family of the Estrildidae.
