Pine grosbeak

Description

The pine bullfinch ( Pinicola enucleator ( Linnaeus,1758 )) is a passerine bird belonging to the Fringillidae family,in which it represents the only species of the genus Pinicola Vieillot,1808.Measure 18.5-25.5 cm in length (maximum dimensions that,although quite exceptional,make it the bigger finch),for 42-78 g of weight.The wing measures an average of 10.2 to 11.6 cm from the wrist to the tip,the tail 7,8-9,5 cm,the beak 1,5-1,65 cm.
