Yellow-cheeked gibbon,sometimes calledGibbon yellow cheeks 1,is aspeciesofprimateof thefamilyofHylobatidae.It is one of theso - called crestedgibbonsand is classifiedbyIUCN asendangered.These gibbons currently live in Laos,Cambodia and Vietnam.The species was first described by both mammalogist English Michael Rogers Oldfield Thomas in 1909.
